Version 11.3 of Easy Social Share Buttons ships with a new free add-on that changes the way you prepare content for social media. Instead of writing your Open Graph titles, tweet copy, and Pinterest descriptions by hand – or leaving them blank entirely – AI Social Booster generates all of it from your existing post content in a single click, directly inside the WordPress editor.
This is not a locked premium feature. Every active Easy Social Share Buttons license includes AI Social Booster at no extra cost. If you are on the 30-day free trial, you have full access to it today.
What It Does
Open any saved post or page in your editor. You will find the AI Social Booster button in the Document sidebar (Block Editor) or in the Publish metabox (Classic Editor). Click it, choose which fields you want to generate, pick a tone and content type, and hit Generate Content. The add-on reads your post, sends it to the AI provider of your choice, and returns optimized copy for each selected field – all in one request.
- Social Media Title & Description – Open Graph fields used by Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Slack link previews. Generated from your content with the right length and hook.
- Tweet – Character-aware copy for X (Twitter) that gets straight to the point, includes natural engagement hooks, and leaves room for your link.
- Pinterest Description – Pin-optimized copy written to drive saves and clicks, with a natural call-to-action tailored to how Pinterest audiences read.
- Post Idea & Share Message – Platform-specific social post concepts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, plus conversational share messages for WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram.
Bring Your Own API Key – No Lock-In
AI Social Booster works with your own API key. You connect directly to the AI provider of your choice – we do not act as a middleman, we do not mark up token costs, and we do not lock you to a single service. Your key is stored securely in your own WordPress installation.
The following AI providers are supported: OpenAI (recommended), Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral AI, and Groq. Additional providers are in active development. Switch providers at any time from the plugin settings without losing your configuration.
OpenAI with GPT-5.5 is the recommended setup for the best balance of quality and cost. If you prefer leaner output, GPT-5 Mini works well for bulk workflows. You can test your connection with a single click directly from the settings page.
How the One-Click Workflow Works
- Connect your key – Enter your API key in the AI Social Booster settings and test the connection.
- Open a saved post – Edit any post, page, or product. The AI Booster button appears automatically.
- Choose & generate – Select fields, set tone and content type, click Generate Content.
- Review & save – Edit any result, then save directly to your Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress social meta fields.
Fully Customizable Prompts
Every instruction sent to the AI is editable. The Prompts tab in the plugin settings exposes the templates used for each field type – Social Media Title, Description, Tweet, Pinterest Description, Post Idea, Share Message, and the Combined Prompt used for multi-field generation.
Templates use dynamic variables – {content}, {tone}, {content_type} – which are automatically replaced at generation time. Customize the instructions to enforce character limits, add hashtag rules, require specific formatting, or match your exact brand style. Each template has a Default button to restore the original if needed.
Standalone Generator for Any Content
The AI Generate tab in the plugin settings is a standalone content generator – it does not require a WordPress post. Paste any text, pick a component and platform, and generate social media copy for emails, external articles, product launches, or any custom content brief.
When generating a Post Idea, you can target a specific social network – General, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Instagram, or LinkedIn – for platform-appropriate framing. You can also add a URL to be included naturally in the generated message.
Smart Caching – Never Pay for the Same Generation Twice
Every generation is stored in your database automatically. Re-open a post and the results load instantly from cache – no API call, no token cost. A Cached or Fresh badge on each result card tells you exactly where the data came from.
To get a new version of a specific field, use the Regenerate button on that card. Only that one field makes a new API request. The Generated Data tab gives you a searchable, filterable history of every generation across all posts, with full view, copy, and delete actions.
How to Get It
- If you are an active Easy Social Share Buttons license holder, download the add-on from the Add-ons menu inside the plugin – no additional purchase needed. How to install and activate free add-ons – video guide →.
- If you are on the 30-day free trial, AI Social Booster is already available. No credit card is required to start the trial.
- If you purchased Easy Social Share Buttons via CodeCanyon, you will need to migrate your license to Freemius first — this is a one-time step and does not affect your existing installation.
- After installation, navigate to Easy Social Share Buttons → AI Social Booster in your WordPress admin menu, add your API key, and you are ready to generate.
Note: AI Social Booster requires a direct license issued via socialsharingplugin.com through Freemius. CodeCanyon purchases require a one-time license migration before the add-on can be activated.
