Starting with version 9.2 of the Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress, you can choose the Twitter button style. You can use the current legacy format (blue color with bird icon) or move to the new X style (X icon and dark color). The switch between styles can be done at any time (and you can revert back too).
By default, the plugin still uses the blue color and the bird icon. To change the style, here is how you can do it in the different modules.
Share Buttons
The change you can make in Twitter’s “Global Network Options”.
You can also change the name of the network using the field in the block in the Networks List.
The same field is also available in the position settings in case you have a personalized list.
